Begin Anu Psychotherapy

WELCOME TO BEGIN ANU PSYCHOTHERAPY

A space to move from coping to healing — one session at a time — with the support of a dedicated and highly skilled therapist.

Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning to your healing journey, we’re here to walk beside you — quietly, gently, and at your own pace.

Here, you don’t have to hold it all together. You don’t have to be fully okay to start. You just have to begin — and we’ll meet you there, in the space between coping and becoming whole again.

WHO WE SUPPORT: We provide compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals, couples, and families in Mississauga & online therapy across Ontario.

GETTING STARTED: New Clients: Book a free 15-minute phone or video consultation to discuss your needs & find the right therapist for you. Use the booking options below to schedule your session. We look forward to supporting your healing journey.

Returning Clients: Schedule your next session directly with your therapist by clicking on their picture.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR SESSION: Please keep in mind our 48-hour cancellation policy. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given—or if a session is missed—the full session fee will be charged (which we really don’t like doing!).

Initial Consultation

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming — which is why we offer a complimentary initial consultation. This is a brief, no-pressure session designed to help you gain a sense of how therapy works, ask questions, and determine if Begin Anu Psychotherapy feels like the right fit for you.

This form of therapy is available to anyone regardless of age, race, culture, religion, ability, gender identity, or immigration status. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the thoughts, stress, anxiety, depression, or patterns that keep you stuck — and move toward healing, clarity, and self-compassion. This is your time to focus fully on you.

As registered Social Workers/psychotherapists, we create a safe atmosphere where you can be vulnerable to share your story, unpack your emotions without judgment, and discover new ways of understanding and caring for yourself.

Couples therapy is for any two people who want to strengthen their romantic relationship — whether you’re young or old, married or unmarried, newly together or long-term partners. It offers you and your partner the opportunity to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a trained professional while working toward your shared goals as a couple.

In sessions, your therapist’s role is to provide a safe, neutral space where both partners can be vulnerable with each other. The focus is always on the relationship itself — supporting both of you in finding healthier ways to communicate, connect, and grow together. Even if one partner meets with the therapist individually, the therapist continues to hold the relationship as the client, working with the best interests of both partners in mind.

Family therapy is for any group of loved ones who want to strengthen their relationships and improve the way they connect. Families come in all shapes and sizes — parents and children, blended families, siblings, or extended relatives — and therapy offers a space where everyone has a voice.

In sessions, a trained therapist helps your family explore patterns of communication, uncover sources of conflict, and work toward shared goals. The focus is not on one individual, but on the family system as a whole. Therapy creates a supportive environment where members can be open, honest, and vulnerable with one another. Together, you’ll build new skills, heal old wounds, and create stronger, healthier bonds that last beyond the therapy room.

I have over 10 years of valuable professional experience, during which I have worked effectively and proficiently to resolve a wide variety of issues, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, self-esteem, self-harm, stress management, life transitions, and enhancing coping skills. Central to my work with clients is my trustworthiness, authenticity, and respectfulness. I consider it a privilege to accompany people on their journeys of self-discovery, change, and healing as they navigate life’s difficulties.
